Reishi Mushroom Powder Mode of Action

Reishi is known as a traditional folk remedy in China, Japan, and Taiwan (1).

Reishi Mushroom contains so many bioactive constituents that no one single molecule can be defined as its main bioactive. Polysaccharides, peptidoglycans, and triterpenoids are the main classes of active constituents in the mushroom (1), as well as beta-glucans. Sterols, fatty acids, Vitamin C, copper, zinc, riboflavin, selenium, and germanium comprise the rest of the mushroom (1).
