Reishi Mushroom (Ganoderma Lucidum, or Lingzhi) contains bioactive polysaccharides, peptides (1), and beta-glucans.

    Reishi is known as a traditional folk remedy in China, Japan, and Taiwan (1).

    Reishi Mushroom contains so many bioactive constituents that no one single molecule can be defined as its main bioactive. Polysaccharides, peptidoglycans, and triterpenoids are the main classes of active constituents in the mushroom (1), as well as beta-glucans. It contains over 120 triterpenoid compounds, some of which are referred to as lucidenic acids. Sterols, fatty acids, Vitamin C, copper, zinc, riboflavin, selenium, and germanium comprise the rest of the mushroom (1).

     

    Reishi Mushroom Powder Dosage

    Pure Nootropics’ Reishi Mushroom Powder provides 1000 mg of Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) per (2) rounded 1.0 cc scoops (provided with purchase). Suggested use for adults is one serving by mouth daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

    Reishi Mushroom Powder Side Effects 

    If you are taking any medications or have a liver condition, please consult with your healthcare practitioner before beginning supplementation with Reishi.

    If you are taking anticoagulants/antiplatelet medications, Reishi Mushroom may increase the risk of bleeding (3).
